CHAPTER THREE

The Gathering…

I couldn’t open my eyes. They weighed about a ton. Laying flat on my stomach, I had the most delicious sensation at my back. Ronnie’s body was partially covering mine, his warmth was heavenly.

“Are you okay?” He whispered.

With my eyes still closed, I smiled. I felt his chuckle against my back, among other things. Seriously? I couldn’t even move and he was ready for round two. I shouldn’t have been surprised. Vampires were randy bastards and their stamina was king. I turned, giving him a good show when my legs fell apart. He didn’t waste any time. I watched as our bodies joined once more and his eyes dilated with desire. I reached up and kissed him because we hadn’t really explored this part quite enough.

His lips moved along my jaw as he moved. “You need to feed.”

Those four words got me going and my fangs lengthened. The minute I sank them into the hard muscle of his chest, his hips quickened. This time, we got there together and it was unbelievable.
